is Chiropractic Software?
Chiropractic
software can be
designed to help you do a number of things. Billing, Scheduling, Soap
Notes and Patient Education just to name a few. The challange comes
when trying to sort through many systems in order to find a system that
is right for you and your practice.
When looking for billing and
scheduling system you want to find a system that offers ease of
input from screen to screen. Does it take a long time to enter daily
charges and enter co-pays and submit billing at the end of the day, or
will it keep up with your office pace. Also, does the schedule allow
all of the things you need? Do you schedule more than one person at the
same time, easy to block out time, easy to find the next open
appointment? These are all things to consider when looking for billing
and scheduling software.

but make sure all of your questions have been properly answered.

Take Notes!
Don't forget to take good
notes on each of your concerns or questions you had written down. Once
the dust settles and you have reviewed many systems, they all tend to
blend together. Taking good notes will help remember exactly what you
liked and which answers were right on the money for your needs.
How
much will it cost?
Just like with anything
you will get what you pay for. You might not need the top of the line
$20,000 system, but perhaps the $1000 system wont quite get you there
either. Try to remember that 5 or 10 years down the road we remember
less the price and more how good (or not) a system has been for us.
Shop as much as possible based on your needs and less on the lowest
cost system. So you have to skip the $5 starbuck a few times a week to
have a better system.. you could always brew your own folgers, right?
